These specifications apply to portable fire extinguishers loaded with Dry powder fire extinguishing agent, Water-based fire extinguishing agent, Class A foam extinguishing agent, Aqueous film forming foam extinguishing agent, Soluble water film-forming foam extinguishing agent and Alcohol resistant foam extinguishing agent.
Operation Steps
Pull out the safety pin, approach the fire from upwind, aim the nozzle at the flame base and squeeze the handle to discharge. Cover the entire burning area evenly: sweep horizontally for dry powder and water-based agents; for foam agents such as aqueous film forming and alcohol resistant types (a classic soluble water film-forming foam formula), apply gently along the container wall to form a sealing film. Keep spraying briefly after extinguishment to prevent reignition.
Storage & Maintenance
Do not expose extinguishers to direct sunlight or heat sources, as high temperatures degrade all agents from Class A foam to dry powder. Check the pressure gauge and cylinder corrosion regularly. Recharge and repair promptly if the pointer falls below the green zone, for both water-based and foam extinguishers. Store properly; unauthorized disassembly is forbidden.
